This type of correction is best for vehicles with paint in good condition, where minor imperfections are visible but not deeply etched or severe. 

Comparison vs Two-Stage:

It differs from multi-stage corrections (stage 2 or 3) which use multiple abrasives and pads to address deeper defects and require a more aggressive approach. 

Benefits:

A single stage correction can improve gloss, reduce the appearance of minor defects, and protect the paint, making it a cost-effective option for maintaining vehicle appearance. 

Purpose:

The primary goal is to refine the paint surface and remove minor defects like swirl marks and light scratches without the aggressive cutting action of a multi-stage correction. 

Process:

A single stage correction typically involves a  medium cut  polish and pad to remove light swirls as well as enhance gloss , followed by a Ceramic Coating to preserve the finish.
